Here is a little bit about me and our small business. 

 

I am a former NYC teacher whose passion has always been teaching and working with children. A few years after having my son, I gave up my career to be able to raise him. I enjoy taking my son to different events in Long Island to entertain him and promote socialization. That is why it is important to me to create a safe, fun and creative environment for children to play, grow, and interact.  Children should have the opportunity to explore different environments and also be able to express their creativity.

 

I wanted to create an environment for kids to be entertained, while giving parents/caregivers a small outlet to relax and socialize. My goal is to give parents and caregivers a place to bring their little ones to play and or paint in a safe, clean environment, while they can enjoy some much needed interaction with other adults. They can also join their little one in all the fun!

Colorful Playhouse is a unique combination of a state- of-the-art play area for children and plaster painting. The distinctive service Colorful Playhouse offers is a welcoming, child- friendly culture where children can express their creativity. Workshops such as Music classes, dance classes and art classes will be offered in addition to open play so that children can continue to express their creativity.  All children will be included in these classes, specific classes such as sensory workshops will also be offered to children with special needs.

 

I love to plan and create family events for children. My teaching degree, along with motherhood, has given me the opportunity to create fun events and educational classes!
